From 7 to 12 June 2026, undergraduate engineering students from RV University, RV College of Engineering, Kumaraguru College of Technology and PES University travelled to Denmark for a short-term academic study visit.
Jointly organised by @Aarhus @aarhus_university and the @syddansk_universitet, Sønderborg Campus, in collaboration with @nordiccentreindia, the programme introduced students to Denmark’s approaches to sustainable engineering, renewable energy and green technology innovation.
Across Aarhus and Sønderborg, students took part in academic sessions, campus visits and conversations with faculty members, students and institutional representatives. They explored themes including energy-efficient data centres, maritime electrification, AI-supported battery optimisation, smart-city technologies and collaborative learning.
Visits and interactions with Danfoss and Uber Denmark connected these academic discussions with engineering practice and innovation in industry.
The programme also reflected the broader India–Denmark Green Strategic Partnership, which promotes collaboration between the two countries in areas such as renewable energy, climate action, sustainable development and innovation.
